Jayavarman is a great story writer, who receives an award in a function. He goes in middle telling that he had to tell story to someone, that is none other than Rohini. He goes to her house and starts telling a story, having a cup of coffee.
Prithvi and Karthika are good friends right from childhood in their village. Livingston is Prithvi's father and is a normal VAO in the village against Karthika and their family who are very royal jameen family. After Karthika attends the age, she doesnt talk to Prithvi that much, which makes him upset. Later both understands each other and loves very badly.

In meantime, her mother shows her past and family history and tells her not to marry Prithvi. Karthika's mother sents gundas to hit Livingston and asks him to go out of city, else they will kill the family itself. Fearing that they go out of city to his brother, Venu Arvind, who is a good journalist's house. From there also hero tries to see herion and escapes to see her in her village. He comes to know that she got married and settled in Singapore. He cries and feels very bad for that and comes to Chennai. Venu's assistant understand's Prithvi's feelings and takes to lot of places and comforts her.

She loves her and wanted to divert him and make him love. They see a mad woman struggling for labour pain on the road and help her in hospital. There they come to know that many woman and raped by ward boys in that mental hospital and goes there to rescue all others. They see Karthika there and hero is terribly shocked and cries to take her home with him. He gets to know that after they come out of village Karthika consumes poison, which damanged her brain to make her mad.

Atlast it happens that the story teller is Prithvi and story hearer Rohini is Karthika. All scenes of these guys in their small ages are good. Love is winning everywhere and the scenes are showing their good chemistry. Its another love story but with a touching end.
