Just for sake of movie, its been taken. With little action and sentiment, the movie doesnt have a story line to tell.
This is how the story starts. Inba (Shyam) goes to juvenile school for murder. Warden lady is sighting him, but he is going around cooly. And after 8 yrs gets released to see his mother and sister running a small mess, with poor dresses. So plans to goto work and joins with Arun Pandiyan (Rekha is his wife), to look after his sister Sneha, who is studying in college.

Villain is in college trying to love and marry, for which Sneha denies. So he wants to teach her a lesson. Sneha thinks Shyam will be in middle of her happiness in college life, so tries to cut him off at so many incidents and even takes him to police. But later when he saves her life in fire, set by villain, starts loving him. Ganja Karuppu is giving some comedy as a lock repairer.  But Shyam doesnt like this, as he tells his flash back.

He is taken to big school by his auto mechanic, Thalaivasal Vijay, though puts his daughter in corporation school. Since he is a good student, scores first in class. This is not liked by Kalyani, who is his class mate and former no.1 in class. So plans to divert his concentration, tells him that she loves him and he gets distracted from studies. He fails in a subject in an exam, which when known to his father feels bad. When he gets to know that it was acting, pushes her from stairs, and Kalyani dies and thats why he goes to jail. his father also commits suicide, and family is in trouble.

Shyam quits job and runs auto separately. When Arun makes alliance for Sneha, she tries to runs with Shyam. When Arun knows this, catches him and runs in down from mountain. Seeing this, Sneha also jumps from mountain. They both are saved, and love each other. The villain from college has a brother, who is a police (SP), who tries to join hands with Arun, in lieu of his dada image. When he knows that he is the same villain who tried to "have" his sister, rejects the plan.

But the SP kills Arun Pandiyan and puts Sneha and Rekha in some place and arranges for marraige. He also catches Shyam and puts him in prison. Shyam escapes from jail and kills both brothers and goes with Sneha. Thats the end of the story. Its simply a movie for time pass for everyone, even who acted in it.
