Some of "Chennai-28" guys have done a good job, but not so great in this friendship boosting movie. Everyone has a duet song and that is also not hummable.
Nitin Satya is an orphan grows from ashram, becomes a site engineer helping his friends Premji (who wants Govt job only) and Vijay(who wants to become an actor). Both these friends are dependent on Nitin for their daily expenses. They live in Delhi Kumar's house as tenent. Premji loves Delhi Kumar's daughter. Vijay acts as a US return wealthy man to a girl and loves and roams with her. Nitin goes to a village for a project and loves a girl there, whose brother is Ajay. Ajay loves his sister very much. Nitin loves her and in his site, due to minor accident gets a brain problem and gets to know that he will die in 3 months.

Knowing this, he asks his friends to find job. Also tells that girl to look for somebody and writes a letter and sends a false photo to his dear lover. But she commits suicide. This angers her brother who searches the girl in photo and that lover, comes to Chennai and without knowing Nitin, he comes to his place as friend. Ajay finds that girl and understands that its a false photo and loves that girl itself. Nitin is doing everything to get his friends a good path for success. Tries to get job for Premji and helps Vijay to act in movie, giving his kidney to a wealthy person and asks for producing that movie in favor.

Ajays lover's father is ex-MLA along with his son-in-law (who is also police) tries to kill Ajay and apprehend the land of the ashram, where Nitin grows up. Nitin at last kills both the people and also helps the marraige of his friend and Delhi Kumar's daughter. When Ajay comes to know that Nitin is his sisters lover, goes to kill him and wants to get punishment for Nitin. When he tells the whole story to the judge in court, everyone understands the feelings and true friendship of Nitin and he dies also. Not so great screenplay, not much comedy, not good songs... Only good plot that gets praise and ends sadly.

All looties these friends make are good, but not that much laughable. Venniraadai Moorthy is showing little comedy and its one time watchable movie, for the plot.
